Compost bins
Compost bins are made from 100% recycled HDPE plastic[1].
The bins come ready to assemble with instructions and a composting guide. The bins have a tight fitting lid to prevent access by flies etc.

Worm farms
Worm Farms are manufactured by RELN Plastic and are made from 100% recycled HDPE plastic[1].
The worm farms come ready to assemble with instructions, bedding material and a basic guide.
Council does not supply worms, however they can be obtained from various suppliers in the region.

Worm farms are for sale for $55 plus GST.
- High-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastics are made from recycling items such as plastic milk bottles, some juice and cordial bottles and laundry detergent containers. These are sent to a processing plant where they are washed, cut into quarter inch pieces and removed of impurities such as glue. The pieces are shipped to plastic manufacturing plants to be made into new items such as detergent and shampoo bottles, plastic lumber, recycling bins and toys
