Community Open Evening - Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex

Byron Shire’s latest sports and cultural facility will be holding a Community Open Evening on Friday 10 February.

5pm to 8pm, Friday 10 February

Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay

(enter via the roundabout on Ewingsdale Road)

Construction on the Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex will soon be completed.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to walk through the grounds, see the new complex and watch local sporting teams in action.

The new facility will have the ability to host many sporting and cultural events, workshops, training programs and support the healthy lifestyle of the Shire.

The site features seven playing fields, three outdoor netball/basketball courts, cricket nets, athletics track, indoor arena, activity and meeting rooms, and catering facilities.

Why not come along and have a look! 

If due to weather the Open Evening can not go ahead, a notice will be placed on Council’s website on Friday, 10 February.

This Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex was supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program, the Better Regions Program and Byron Shire Council.
