Membership

Membership includes 7 members:

  • 1 Councillor from the Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC)
  • 5 invited members from the Tourism Advisory Committee (to include a minimum of 2 TAC industry members and a minimum of 1 community member not associated with the tourism industry from the TAC).

Objectives

  1. Fully consider objective 10 and all related strategies and actions in the Tourism Management Plan - establish a consistent brand and image for Byron Shire that promotes and protects its uniqueness, diversity and commitment to ecologicallly sustainable communities.
  2. Prepare a draft branding brief for consideration at the next avaliable Tourism Advisory Committee meeting.
