Policy Advisory Committee

The Policy Committee is an advisory Committee of the Council and does not have executive power or authority to implement actions.

Purpose

The purpose of the Policy Committee is:

  • To review all of Council's current Plans and Policies.
  • To appoint and determine Project Reference Groups and their members to carry out specific objectives of Council.
  • To consider the reports prepared by the Project Reference Groups and refer appropriate policy and strategic direction to Council or Strategic Planning Committee for their appropriate action.
