Library Project Reference Group

Objectives

1. To define the creative and cultural context of the Library and to assist in the  development of a concept plan for the building for the purpose of applying for grants and developing the ongoing program for the facility.
2. To recommend artwork to be incorporated into the new Byron Bay Library building and surrounding landscape to:
   
   i)     support artistic processes and outcomes that contribute to and reflect a sense of place and local identity
   
   ii)     add vibrancy to this important public building
3. To provide advice on the Landscape plan.
