Communications Committee

Terms of Reference

The Communications Committee is an advisory Committee of the Council and does not have executive power or authority to implement actions.

Purpose

The purpose of the Communications Committee is:

• To lead research and policy direction on communications issues for Byron Shire
• To provide direction to the various sub-committees established by the Communications Committee to work on individual areas
• To consider the reports prepared by sub-committees and refer appropriate policy and strategic direction to Council for their appropriate action
