Bangalow Pay Parking

From 1 January 2018, pay parking will begin within the Bangalow town centre.

Bangalow is one of Byron Shire’s most popular visitor destinations and parking in the town centre is often at a premium, particularly on weekends and holidays.  Pay parking will help increase the number of parking spaces available, through turnover of cars, in and around the main street of the village.  Visitors will be the main contributors to pay parking and this revenue will assist in paying for ongoing infrastructure and related projects in Bangalow.

Where will the parking meters be located?

The following map illustrates the pay parking footprint and time limits for parking within the town centre of Bangalow.  From 1st January, the meters will be charging $4 per hour.

The dotted yellow line indicates where the pay parking meters will be located.

All Byron Shire residents are entitled to an exemption from pay parking
