Expression of Interest:
Market Stalls and Entertainers (Buskers) for New Years’ Eve
Byron Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from
market stallholders and community groups to operate on New Years Eve
2009/10. Market stalls and entertainment will operate in Apex Park near
Main Beach in Byron Bay from 6pm to midnight, Thursday 31December 2009.
Expressions of interest are sought for market stalls, particularly
those which feature local home made/ home grown or value added items.
Expressions of interest are also sought for buskers to perform
during the evening, particularly from buskers which appeal to a broad
range of audiences and are appropriate for families. Buskers may need
to obtain a Busking Permit.
Stallholders Fees:
Food stalls $150
Craft stalls $80
Community Groups FREE
Busking Permit Fees:
One off application fee $20
Permit $26 per month OR
Permit $100 per annum
