Request for Tender: Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex

Tenders are sought on behalf of Byron Shire Council, for the supply and delivery of a variety of fill types ( for example: topsoil, fill material, select fill, pavement gravels, aggregates and free-drainage layers) to and for the proposed Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex, located at 249 Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay and described as Lot 3 DP 706286.

The tender document is a Schedule of Rates contract for the supply and delivery of specified fill types.  The quantities of fill will be directed by the Principal in accordance with the tendered rates.  Anticipated total bulk quantity of fill required is between fifty thousand and ninety thousand cubic metres.  Tenders may be accepted for the whole of the works or specific sections.  The work is expected to take place November / December 2009.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.  Separate contracts may be awarded for specific sections.  Late tenders will not be accepted.

Tenders must be lodged by 9:30 am (NSW time) on Tuesday 10 November 2009 in the Tender Box, Department of Services, Technology and Administration, NSW Public Works, 120 Dalley Street (PO Box 73), Lismore NSW 2480.
