Byron Environmental Laboratory holds National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in the fields of Chemical and Biological Testing (No. 14435)

NATA accreditation provides the customer with quality assurance for the analytical services provided by the laboratory .

Our team provide quality environmental sampling and monitoring services. The laboratory is well equipped, modern, purpose built facility, situated at 10 Centennial Circuit Byron Bay

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance monitoring and reporting for wastewater samples
  • Process and performance monitoring of sewage treatment plants, including onsite treatment plants
  • Drinking water
  •  Pool testing
  • Industrial liquid trade waste testing
  • River, stream and waterways monitoring
  • Sample collection –laboratory staff can collect samples and conduct field tests for internal and external clients
  • Analysis of private water supplies ( dams, creeks, bores and tanks)
  • Equipment calibration
  • Stormwater surveys

Please Note: Sample containers are available from the laboratory free of charge.

Samples may be delivered to the laboratory 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, with the exception of microbiological samples which can be delivered between 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday.
