All Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at Station Street, Mullumbimby. The Ordinary Meetings commence at 10.30am. All meetings are open to the public. Confidential items are considered in closed session, which excludes press and public.

Agendas are uploaded to Council's website on the Thursday preceding the Ordinary Meetings. Agendas for Extraordinary and Reserve Trust Committee Meetings are uploaded as soon as they are available.
Minutes are uploaded as soon as possible following the Meetings. Please note that the Minutes of Meetings are submitted to the next available Ordinary Meeting for confirmation.
A hard copy of the Agenda is also available for viewing prior to the meeting at Council's Community Access Points around the Shire. These access points are located as follows:
All Ordinary Meetings and Standing Committee Meetings are conducted in accordance with Council's Code of Meeting Practice.
Public Access relating to items on Agendas can be made between 9.00am and 10.30am on the day of the Meeting. Requests for public access should be made to the General Manager or the Mayor no later than 12.00 midday on the day prior to the Meeting.
Only one presentation for and one presentation against may be made on an item in the Agenda, with a maximum of five minutes allocated to each presentation.
More than one speaker for or against an item may share the allotted time of five minutes.
The Mayor will also ask speakers if they will accept questions from Councillors during their access.

Anyone wishing to make a submission to Council on an item outside the Agenda, or to ask a question of a general nature to Councillors or to the General Manager, will be able to do so at the completion of Public Access on items on the Agenda (see note on Public Access above).
